Explaination and a Rant, huzzah.

Tue Dec 26, 2006, 10:01 AM
  • Mood: Sickened
  • Listening to: Disturbed - Hell
  • Playing: KillZone: Liberation
  • Drinking: Mt. Dew
Well, the explaination is this:

A lot of you may of noticed that I rarely comment on the pictures and such I add to my favorites...and I apologise for that. I don't usually post comments or the like on pictures or scripture on here - but so you all know, I am an archiver..for no real appearent reason, every picture I have favorited is in my archive..why? Nu fuxxin idea xD I just like doing it..gives some meaning in my life somewhere. As well as putting them as my desktop wallpapers. Muah. But yeah, I favorite and save - archive is at about 21,000+ pictures. A lot of which I got from DA itself, so to those I have favorited..I will say this..KEEP UP THAT DAMNED GOOD WORK! *Waves flags around wildly* Annnd every piccy I fav, I absolutely luffles!
---------------
Now that the good part is done, lets move to the bad part. The rant.
---------------
Alrighty, it's about and artist no less. One on DA but not many know. A few know him and such, he does some damn good work...but that's not the grief. The grief being..I absolutely_hate_people who do not do what they say. I friggin loathe them with every fiber of my being. I wish they would burn in every layer of Hell and abbyssal plains.

You don't tell someone that you will do their pictures, because after much debating, questioning and people giving their word on your skills and that you'd actually do...to lie and say you started. Then never finish some 7+ months later. Yeah, I know that life is hectic and complicated. But when you're pumping out new pictures almost every month or every few months? Yeeeaaaahhh...screw you to, ya lyin sack of maggot crap.

Especially when, of course I didn't or tried not to pester you to much about it, having complete faith in that hey, as a friend, you'd get em done and sent, so I could continue on with em. Even just the fuxxin inked linearts. But no. Nothing.

So of course, I have stopped questioning or asking about it. What use would it do? You obviously don't want to do them or never even got started on them - so why bother pestering you about it when they will never be done?

But yes, I know his trick. Due to it not being a comission and paid for, he can easily put it off and or never even really do them. Why? No money involved! Just good ol' friendship! or the ya know..lower but equally important blossoming friendship. But to lie? Lie and say you started them and low and behold, nothing months upon months later!...Feh.

People like you make me utterly disgusted. At least have a bit of Honor to tell me the truth. Show_some_respect. So in closing, I have only this to say..

I hope you fall, break your infernal neck and live, as a veggy paralyzed from the neck down, ya sorry crapsack. Enjoy ya bloody life, liar.
----

Course some of you make take offense of that. Buuut tis my opinion on that situation. I was patient and waited, barely pestering and restraining myself to no avail of pictures that I needed. Sorry for those whom were offended. *Jus wanders off now*

Normal artists don't pull that shit, yanno.

They're often more inclined towards doing gifts for friends, than commishs.
:iconebony-chan:
Man I'm sorry to hear that. Real artist don't do that.

Me I usually start on the sketch finish it and post it in the same day. As far as the colors I show my clients the wip so they can tell me what they like and don't like.

Such a shame it gives real artists a bad name.
:iconzeromatrixguyver:
Ah, true. The only downside was, well..it was for a very specific anime that is extremely pain in the ass for a lot of people to draw. Even the die-in-the-wool-hardcore-to-hell-and-back artists seem to grow annoyed with it. *Slight shrug* Sadly, it's pretty much ruined the entire "Request art and get art, i'm a free artists and your friend!" type crap. Thought about going else where for the art..but..eh...to damn hard to describe it now, let alone explain it ~.~; So, prolly just end up photo-minpulating some images and pull in favors from other art freaks imma friends with..nuh a whole lot you can do when the before mentioned artist appears to have an ego the size of godzilla. xD But sank yews for ya comment! *Joygasm* <<; People do read my stuff! *Spasmingdrool* Oh and much much kudos on ya artwork <.< Not ashamed to say in the least that some (IE: A lot) of your pieces are stashed in my archive..why? (._.) I'm still asking that as I pass the 30,000 mark of pictures..
:iconrhiethreal:
Btw what anime was it?
:iconzeromatrixguyver:
Ah, the anime for the art piece? The Guyver, it was specific outright for the units my own created character had and evolved em and so forth. Waited like..7+ months -,- and notta. So feh, i'll just bide my time for now so I can refine the description more, and add more reference pictures before hunting down one of those elluside comission artists xD
:iconfree-energy03:
ah, The Guyver, i have to admit, that is a challenging one, especially his suit! wish ya luck, and thanks for adding my work to your collection of favorites!

>3 Ah, indeedy. Frankly, I tip my hat to people who draw Guyvers, or even attempt to in all truth of the matter. One of more..difficult sci-fi characters I have seen. And well...<,< I love great artwork..much gleeful fanboying over your artwork >D! Keep it up! >.> Or you may find a rabid fanboy lurking beneath your bed late one night...*Shifty eyes*
:iconfree-energy03:
LOL, hey! that's where i lurk too! see ya there! :D

sorry to hear about your poor luck, i used to watch the early nineties guyver series all the time, its pretty much the reason i picked up a pencil in the first place the second movie kinda ruined it for me though..
